Andrew DeSantis

Andrew DeSantis was born on October 17, 1896 in Italy and died in Feb, 1971 in Ridley Township. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1919 and settled in Swarthmore.

In the late 1910's and early 1920's he lived at 207 Woodland Avenue in Morton, PA with Alessandro Melchiorre and also stood in as best man in Alessandro's marriage to Virginia in 1921. He was Catherine Melchiorre Nygard's godfather, and later her step-father!
