John Richard Nygard

John Richard Nygard, better known as Jack, was born on May 30, 1919 in Newark, NJ. In 1940 Jack lived in Marietta, PA. His father, Carl V. Nygard also lived in the western part of the state in the 1940's. On October 17, 1941 he entered the Army and was stationed in Camp Lee, VA. He listed his mother's house at 511 Sutton Avenue in Folsom as his address. At this time he was employed by John Hanna and Sons located at 125 E. 5th Street in Chester, PA.

He later lived in Chester at 371 W. 21st Street.
